1 x Trio SafeTCheck with RCD testing (option)

The SAFETCHECK is an electrical Portable Appliance Tester (PAT). It is designed to easily verify that an appliance meets or exceeds the electrical safety requirements as described in the current Australian and New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 3760:2003).

The SAFETCHECK tests Electrical Continuity, Insulation Resistance and Earth Integrity (where appropriate) against predetermined test thresholds for a selected appliance.

All tests are conducted sequentially. If any test should fail, the SAFETCHECK will indicate a fail together with suggesting the most likely cause via the display.

The SAFETCHECK is designed to be 'Fail Safe', that is the tester will always indicate a failed test if any aspect of the test is incorrect with respect to the characteristics of the appliance under test.

This model is complete with the RCD option (with built in isolation transformer). Testing Electrical Appliance Safety has never been as simple, fast, accurate, thorough and safe.

Until now, appliance encapsulation in a butcher's apron was considered the most effective way of measuring current leakage. However, our newly released insulation cloaks are made from the most flexible stainless steel mesh available.
